Immeasurable Moments : Me

This morning it poured cats and dogs, so we did a whole lot of nothing! But, as the boys were napping, the sun broke through the clouds and we ended up having a beautiful day! The weather was perfect for a park visit, so we headed to Cole's favorite place, the local pre-school play area. Check out the pics and you'll see why. Notice the toy excavator in every picture of him? My son is in "construction worker" heaven when we visit that play area. He could spend hours digging and filling trucks and dumping everything out. Today he said he was building a castle. That's my boy. And don't think Casey isn't entertained there, he claimed a toy walker and spent hours walking it around the whole play area. Ahh, to be small again and so easily amused! For now, I'll have to settle for amusing myself by chasing after my children in a park and begging them to smile for the camera! Wait....that probably amuses everyone else there!

Have you ever seen a more perfect little baby belly?! With just a couple weeks to go before the birth of her first child, this beautiful mommy-to-be gave me the privilege of capturing this special time in her life. Congrats S, it was a pleasure working with you! I can't wait to meet baby Landen in just a few short weeks!

Immeasurable Moments : Brand New

I had beach maternity portraits of this little one's Mommy planned, but he surprised us by showing up an entire month before his due date! He was a complete dream to photograph and cute as could be! Along with his older brother Elijah, who has the most beautiful big brown eyes. Well, baby Ellis, I'm glad you are here and safe and sound in your Mommy and Daddy's arms. Congrats G family! I look forward to working again with you in the near future!

Today I got to take pictures of one of the cutest girls around. But not only is she cute, she's my niece. It's so nice to have a perfect little model I can take pictures of any time I want! Thank you B family for allowing me to photograph little Miss Sarah today.

4th of July turned out surprising nice! I worked in the morning. That's ok being I was paid time and a half! And the afternoon was spent with the C family. Both of the boys just love hanging out with their cousins. And despite the massive fly invasion, we all had a great time! We made a last minute decision to head to the ocean front to see fireworks....we had contemplated skipping them this year since we had to be up early the next day...but I'm glad we decided to go. The weather was actually nice, MUCH better than last year! And it was kind of nice doing the same thing we did last 4th of July...maybe we'll make it a tradition! Ice cream on the boardwalk and fireworks! Of course, you know I had to take pictures, so here's a few from our holiday.

I was so excited to shoot one of my very first maternity sessions. And I'm so thankful to Miss I for braving the heat and getting off of bed rest to meet me for the shoot. You are a beautiful Mommy-To-Be and I Can't wait to meet baby girl, Sinclair! Hurry up and get here, your parents are anxiously awaiting your arrival!
