Immeasurable Moments : Me

It's time for pumpkin carving, crisp, cool air, and of course, costumes!! I might be partial, but isn't this the cutest dinosaur and the cutest dragonfly you've ever seen?! I think it's a bit of a challenge to find boy costumes because you can only get away with "cute" for so long. I'm trying to take advantage of it while my boys are still little! As soon as I stumbled upon this discontinued dragonfly costume online, I knew I wanted it! I had never seen a little boy's costume like that and I love when I find things that are different! It was more of a struggle with my oldest, we looked at tons of costumes online and he didn't like any of them! Finally, one day when we were shopping, we saw this in a store and he loved it! Thank goodness, I was beginning to think he wasn't going to have a costume! The second challenge came in trying to photograph them IN their costumes.....not easy when it's a 22 month old and a 3 year old!

Some little babies are not too keen on having their picture taken. Miss Brynleigh is one of them. She put up a good fight to try to keep it from happening, but despite the many bottles, burping, hiccups and peeing, I managed to sneak a few shots in. Sorry Brynleigh, but I was determined to get your pictures! Congrats S family, it was a pleasure meeting you! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

None of us know what tomorrow will bring, and sometimes things don't go the way we plan. The only thing we do know, is that each day is a gift from God. Congratulations P family, your baby boy is perfect in every way, and I know you couldn't be happier to be holding him in your arms. Enjoy your new little bundle and the precious gift of life.

Mr. Elijah celebrated his 2nd birthday with lots of family, friends and of course, ELMO! Happy Birthday, little guy, I hope you had a wonderful time on your special day!

 

Immeasurable Moments : Maternity

Today's maternity shoot was very special because the daddy-to-be is overseas, bravely serving our country. He's been gone since the beginning of the pregnancy and isn't scheduled to return until after the baby's birth. Since he can't be here during this special time, I hope when these pictures find their way to him, they will bring a smile to his face and joy to his heart. Congratulations H family! My prayers are with you that Joe will make it safely home for the birth of your precious little one.
